DESCRIPTION:Slovenian Catholic Mission Picnic Grounds\n14246 Main Street\nLemont\, IL 60439 \nThis is the last picnic of the summer season.  Come to enjoy the day and remember the easy\, lazy days of summer with one more day of fun!! \n This event had historically been a reunion of sorts for lodges in the Chicagoland area.  The day starts at 11:00 am with the celebration of the Eucharist (Mass) and singing Litanies to Mary with responses and hymns at the Lourdes grotto. \n\nThere will be monastery honey available for sale (The best in the area!!)\nHomemade bakery for sale\nSlovenska Mladinska Skupina Marela will dance for your enjoyment at about 1:30 pm in the pavilion.\nWaterslide & the playground still needs to be given a workout by the kids! Bring your swimsuit and towels for a slippery good time!\nPlenty of Food and Drink\n\nChicken\, Klobase\, Hot Dogs\, and more\nCold beer and plenty of drink options\n\n\nLive Music and dancing in the pavilion\nRaffle tickets — $2 ea for a top prize of $500\n“With our raffle\, people won’t get poor if they buy tickets and won’t get rich if they win …but the Franciscans wish them luck and they thank everybody for the support!”
